Educational Services Receives Authorized Provider Status for Awarding Continuing Education Units from the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) 

After a thorough review of the Educational Services organization, procedures and practices, and an on-site audit Educational Services received Authorized Provider status from IACET allowing them to award IACET Continuing Education Units (CEU).  IACET is a non-profit association dedicated to improving the quality of continuing education and training programs. IACET authorizes education providers who meet strict continuing education guidelines the right to award IACET CEUs. This IACET qualifying process is the standard that HR training buyers and learners seek for quality. 

Educational Services is pleased to become a recognized member of the IACET group of trainers and educators. Our instructors and the materials and programs we utilize to teach our students what they need to know about the products they use are considered by many the best in the industry. Educational Services now offers six new Compliance Suite training courses to increase your knowledge of those tasks that reside between the process control system environment and corporate Enterprise Resource Planning system. Topics covered briefly in Compliance Suite Overview, course number 7080, have been expanded into specific courses, providing more information and detail.

Compliance Suite Overview Course 7080

This 2-day class provides an overview of Compliance Suite applications and their use within a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) environment. Compliance Suite applications handle tasks that fit between the process control system environment, such as DeltaV™, and corporate Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP. Each module in the suite will be covered briefly to provide the user with a basic understanding of the module, its functionality and how it fits into the overall MES functional layer.  This 3-day course is designed for On-site and Local schools where the importance of good Control valve set-up is emphasized on day 1.  All the Mechanical Set-Up of  travel, spring, and mounting adjustments are discussed and presented in hands on workshops.  Days 2 and 3 will provide the basics of Fieldbus DVC6000f using 375 Handheld and AMS ValveLink software.

Introducing New Course: Advanced FlowScannerTM Diagnostic Interpretation, Course #1428 CEUs: 2.1

This 3-day advanced course is for personnel who are responsible for interpreting plots and other diagnostic data that is acquired with the Fisher FlowScanner. This course focuses on data interpretation.  The course is based on a structured combination of lectures and hands-on labs to teach students how to identify problems in control valve assemblies. Emphasis is placed on determining and confirming overall control valve health and condition by examining each of the major components of the assembly: I/P, positioner, actuator, and valve body.

Education in Machinery HealthTM Management: Announcing Autocorrelation as an Advanced Diagnostic Tool

This one-day course teaches the power of the autocorrelation coefficient function for the analysis of vibration-induced time waveform data. The autocorrelation function data is computed from the same time waveform data used to compute the spectrum. The strengths of the autocorrelation data are complementary to the strengths of the spectral data.
